Estée Lauder Sun Performance Self Tan Go Tan Sunless Towelettes
Jill: Mess-free wipes that were very easy to use-one towelette was enough for full coverage. Worked well on my sensitive, fair skin. The color was good too but not mistake-proof, so use caution on and around knees and ankles. My application lasted three to four days. The product smelled like sunscreen, but the scent faded more quickly than the color. All in all, Estée Lauder has my vote with these towelettes. For a busy working mom, this is the simplest self-tan I’ve ever had!
Bliss Tan for All Seasons Self-Tanning Mist
Carole: This product is one of the best self-tanners I’ve ever used. The spray mist was easy to apply (not sticky at all) and has only a mild citrus scent. It took several days for the color to gradually deepen, but that worked great for my fair skin. And the color was a nice, soft bronze-not the usual “self-tanner orange.”
Sircuit Soliel Firming Mineral Self Tanner
Jennifer: Very easy to use and apply evenly due to the fact that it is tinted. This tanner gives a good bit of color, so it would work best on someone with a medium skin tone. Use care-I discovered that this product will streak if it gets wet, so apply with plenty of time to let it dry and absorb into your skin. I liked the fact that it did not have a strong smell.
Clinique Self-Sun Touch of Bronze Moisturizing Body Lotion
Julie: Just as the name implies, the tanner gives a subtle touch of color. It is perfect for the those who are fair-skinned. The color can be made deeper through reapplication until the right shade is achieved. I especially liked that this tanner is a moisturizer as well.
Clarins Delicious Self Tanning Creme
Dianah: This tanner gives immediate color so you can easily see where you have applied. The color itself is warm and natural-looking. Reapplication isn’t necessary to deepen the color, and it lasts for several days. Care is necessary in applying due to the instant color, so be careful around ankles and feet! Mistakes will be noticeable depending on how fair your skin may be.
CHANEL Soleil Identité Perfect Color Body Self Tanner
June: Very impressive self-tanner. I found it to be virtually streak-free with no discoloration around the knees or ankles. And it stayed on my body, not on my clothes. Plus, there was no strong smell to let everyone know I had just applied a self-tanner.
Lancome Flash Bronzer Oil-Free Tinted Self-Tanning Face Lotion
Marla: This tanner gave me an instant skin-kissed face! The results were definite but natural-looking. The lotion itself is bronze, which makes application much easier. Smells good too!
Dermaquest Skin Therapy Dermaglow Self Tanner – Face
Holly: Nice color develops after application, but results are not instant. The product is white, so caution is necessary when applying. I found one application was sufficient with my fair skin, and the color lasted several days. And the best part-there was no typical self-tanner smell to speak of.
