While many events this year have been put on hold due to lockdowns and social distancing restrictions, we were still able to have a few red carpet moments to enjoy in the last 12 months – let’s not forget, that prior to the major Covid-19 outbreak in March, we had an entire awards season packed full of glamorous gowns from the Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammys and Baftas. While, granted, there was no Met Gala, and Cannes Film Festival was cancelled, some clever organisation and a brief slowing of the Coronavirus spread meant that an al fresco Venice Film Festival could take place, giving us some of the high-octane fashion moments we’d been starved of for months.
From Scarlett Johansson in Vera Wang, to Zendaya in Tom Ford, Jennifer Aniston in Dior, the Duchess of Cambridge in Alexander McQueen, and Zoe Kravitz in Saint Laurent, we look at the best fashion moments of 2020.
